Service was slow but Flying Burger was excellent!
I mean, for 3 the burger was actually pretty decent. Would definitely come back. Wasn't a huge fan of the flying burger, it was different but not a huge fan of burgers on sandwich bread
Great food, generous portions, friendly staff, and quick service makes this my favorite burger joint on the Southside. The only thing that would make it better is a dine-in option, but then it wouldn't be the Kings Hat if it had that so I am good with it. If you haven't eaten here then you are short changing yourself and owe to yourself to try it. Bet you go back again and again like me!
I eat here decently often. It's usually best to call ahead and walk to the pick up window but not a problem with just pulling in line. The burgers are delicious and easy to crave but the malts can easily have you coming back for more. A really good selection on the menu, something for everyone. The prices are decent for a mom and pop style restaurant.
I love this place, I live nearby and go often. The food is awesome, always hot and tasty. I really like the shrimp basket, gets me full every time. The shakes are amazing too. The best part is how good the service is. Employees are always positive and efficient. My only complaint is that they are closed two days a week, or else I'd be going today! Thanks Kings Hat!
When driving on 1st Ave South, there is a reason that traffic is backed up at the tiny burger shop called Kings Hat. This place is a local gem and is definitely worth the wait. The flying cheeseburger loaded is as is everything here. Before going to any chain restaurant, always go local, especially with this place. There is a reason why they have been around for as long as they have. Muy bueno!!!
